The Internationale Fachmesse fur Sportartikel und Sportmode, better known as ISPO, is the largest trade fair for sporting goods and sportswear in the world.
Since its establishment in 1970, the ISPO has been held once a year (end of January or early February) at Neue Messe Munchen, in which the following categories are displayed: Running, Outdoor, Skiing, Fitness, Boarding, Beachwear, Sportswear, Soccer, Teamsports, Nordic Sports, Racket, Biking, Triathlon, and Kids.
The ISPO Munich (Internationale Fachmesse fur Sportartikel und Sportmode) is a member of the ISPO family, which also includes other trade fairs such as ISPO BIKE (previously Bike EXPO), ISPO BEIJING, ISPO JOBS and ISPO CONNECT.
Every year, ISPO awards ISPO BrandNew to start-up companies in the sports industry that present particularly innovative models or products. The next edition of ISPO Munich will take place in Munich from January 31 to February 3, 2021.
