After being destroyed partly in the Second World War, the church was repaired during the years 1947 to 195 then returned to congregation.

3. Uferpromenade

One of the most beautiful and longest walks on the Bodensee Lake is the Friedrichshafen Waterfront sidewalk. There is a spectacular viewpoint of the lake and the Alps in the background from the mouth of the Rotach to the castle. A place of comfort is the square on the lakeside with its relaxed street cafes and the glittering lake water. From the port, vessels from the "Gray Force", catamarans and lake ferries can carry you on a calm cruise ride. You can have unrestricted views from the 22 m high view tower on the harbor pier and casual sea voyages are provided by gondola pedal vessels, motorboats, and sail boats.

4. Hafenmole Observation Tower

Once you visit the shoreline of Friedrichshafen, you ought to climb the Hafenmole Observation Tower. You can enjoy the view of the city and the cathedral, the hinterland orchards and stupendous Alps cityscape from the 22-meter-high tower on the quayside Pier.

5. Dornier Museum

You can schedule a visit to the Friedrichshafen Dornier Museum to explore the aviation heritage. You can feel the vision of aeronautical travel over the last 100 years. The museum presents a variety of discoveries and inventions spread over 6,000 square meters in the immediate proximity of the Bondensee airport.

6. Schulmuseum

The Friedrichshafen School Museum is located on the banks of Lake Constance and provides a fascinating journey through school history in Germany. The eclectic tour continues in the middle ages and provides antiquated school tables, pencil sets, slates and much more. At the heart of the exhibition are three originally furnished classrooms which return visitors to school days  in 1850, 1900 and 1930s.

7. Mainau

Located in Lake Constance, Mainau Island spreads over with parks and attractions, which makes it the ideal setting for a day trip. It's a half hour drive from Friedrichshafen to Meersburg on your Coach Charter Germany Tour Bus. You will take the ferry to Mainau from there. You will travel to the Teutonic Baroque Castle, built in 1739; it belongs to the gracious family that manages the upkeep of the island. The park is granted its tropical look by a wide array of uncommon and exotic plants such as orchids and tulips.

8. Haldenberg Kapelle

In 1892 carpenter Johann Heinzelmann built and installed the Haldenberg chapel in Ailingen. This was conveniently dismantled and restored on the Haldenberg in 1921 in the Reinachmühle.
